Welcome to snow goose guides where you come as a client and leave as a friend.
I have been an avid waterfowl hunter for 30 years. I started waterfowl hunting on friends farms.
As my passion grew it led me into opening my full-service lodge on Saginaw bay. My business grew and the snow goose conservation season opened I started expanding into Snow Goose guiding. I worked with other outfitters bringing my clients and guiding them for several years. I then started my own outfitting business.
I currently hunt Arkansas typically from the end of January thru middle to end of February as the birds move north so do we. We will hunt central Missouri up to S.E. Nebraska near the rainwater basin. I have hunted Mound City Missouri for several years but prefer to hunt S.E. Nebraska where there is less pressure on the birds. From there we will move up into South Dakota.
We offer several locations to hunt from. Our preferred method is large migrator spreads that include 1800-2000 full-body decoys on a pond/field setting. We also hunt grains fields with 2000-3000 sock decoys. We also have the option to hunt feed fields. Feed fields have special restrictions and cost. Contact us for details on feed field hunts.
We ask our clients to understand we are hunting a species that migrates 1000’s of miles every year and can be very hard to predict what is the best days to hunt. We recommend hunters book three days of hunting to have the best success. We expect to harvest 10-20 birds per field per day on average. We will always put in the effort to make sure our clients have a successful and enjoyable hunt every day.
To your success!
